The feedback I was given really helped me elevate my website. Mrs. Linnerth taught me about putting just about everything on my website. From images to powerpoints even themes just so that my website can be perfect. I was told to put on a powerpoint, instead of a link. Mrs. Linnerth helped me put on the document to do so, and it made my website more significant in helping the viewer read my work. I had all the subjects by it self on the one side of my site, making it look very crowded. So then I put tabs under the main focal point. It made the website more sophisticated. I also just had 3 images for my home page, so I added an introduction and quotes to the photos. It made it more detailed. It made learning so much easier, and fun in a sense. I am a visual learner to putting images up make it more helpful to understand. I find having types out notes you can print off is so much easier than writing notes. Since if you miss a day you can just look off the notes at home, and not rush writing a note in class. It also elevated my understanding for the subjects in having to research so much. For example the Human Rights Article made me come out of my comfort zone. Since I never keep up with the news or politics. It came as a surprise to me to learn just what goes on in other countries “House of Commons.” Also the seminar did the exact same thing, I went in knowing nothing about Ceausescu. And by the end found myself knowing his life story. Learning about Human Rights is a very important subject, as it truly applies to all of us in the classroom and especially Canada. Another would be Wuthering Heights, the assignments for that make you really think outside of the box. For example connecting your own life to the novel, and in depth. It is a huge learning curve, but is essentially for the better. I believe that technology can truly change education for the better!
